| The Rotaract club is a youth wing of Rotary. The Rotaract Club of Ethiraj college is sponsored by Rotary Club of Madras Chennapatna. It has been registered with Rotary International, besides being a part of the R.I District 3230. |

| Every year the club is inaugurated with a unique theme. This year the theme of the club is “IGNITED MINDS”. A session was held for the Green Rotaracters and awareness on “Wear Helmet” was stressed. The “Womens Health Conferrence- ELIXIR” was held in the college auditorium inaugurated by the first lady Governor District Mrs. Meenakshi Anand , the speakers for the day were Dr.Vijayalakshmi , Mrs.Priya and Mrs. Savitha. Human Chain was formed from Spencer Plaza – Ethiraj College along with the college band to create awareness about Aids with Rotaract Club of Central Aadithya. |

| A training session on MS-Office was organized for the non teaching staff. Gatez – A corporate cultural programme was conducted along with rotaract club of Ambattur.The club raised an amount of 50000 and donated towards Bill and Millanda. Gatez challenged for the cause of End Polio. On the Worlds Rotaract Day the Rotaracters rendered 101 projects within 5 hours. |
